The Deep Research Agent turns a question into a research plan, runs the searches, reads the pages through a guarded fetcher, and writes a structured report in which every claim points at the source it came from. It is the first step in most missions, from market scans to lead generation, and its output is re-checked by the Evaluator before it reaches you.
Limits: Depends on what the open web says; paywalled sources are not read.

How is this different from asking a chatbot?
A chatbot answers from memory. The Deep Research Agent plans searches, reads the live web, and cites every claim, and a separate Evaluator agent re-fetches those sources to confirm the report says what they say.
Can it read sources behind a paywall or login?
No. It reads the open web only. Paywalled or private material can be uploaded and handed to the Document Analyst instead.
